Almon

Overview

Almon is the neutral god of travelers.

Almon is a little known god, mainly only to itinerant travelers. He is a quiet and unassuming god, appearing occasionally when the mood suits him. His avatar is usually of a weary, tired, road-worn traveler, accompanied by a three-legged dog and a raven.

Almon's priests, druids and monks are wanderers. There are no known temples for him, but shrines are often at gathering places or near towns/villages kind to travelers.

Almon rarely directly aids those in need, instead letting them help themselves or letting his disciples provide. Followers say this is because Almon sent his dog once to aid a champion of his; as a result, the dog lost a leg. Almon became angry and decided to go hands-off.

This may also by why there are no paladins of Almon, if Almon does not grant powers directly to his priests and champions.

Almon is also known as The Endless Wanderer, Almon the Homeless, or The Eternal Traveler.
