Archanis Reynald is the current Duke of the Duchy of Irecia. He is the older brother to Sir Chaddius Reynald. Archanis is married to Alicia Reynald, and they have a son, Leturus Reynald.
In 59AD, an attempt was made on Archanis's life while he was visiting Enonia. The assassination was orchestrated by those supporting the Lightbringers, including Dame Oriolt, Priest Godfrey and Marshal Kevlin of Riverton.
