A bestial race of dog-like creatures. Ko-balds organize into familial clans. They are a pest and nuisance, but they are also crafty, sadistic and extremely difficult to root out once they establish a warren. Ko-balds have been known to decimate even cohorts of Legionnaires, with traps, labyrinthine tunnels with secret bolt-holes and missile-slits and an almost rabid determination to protect the warren king. Ko-balds have typically been enslaved by Goblyns and Orcs.
