Gireford

Gireford is a small village located on the border between the Duchy of Elthest and the Duchy of Corridin. It is a farming village with a small amount of trade coming from nearby hamlets and farmsteads, as well as traffic on the Gire River.

The village mayor (as of Autumn, 59th Year) is Davin Sizeman. The town's Sheriff is Caleb Stark. The village's Lord is Marshal Selfridge, who resides in the nearby town of Tannia.

The village is mainly known for the ford that allows travelers to cross the Gire. Boats going up and down river need to be flatbottomed and shallow to navigate the ford.
