The Dark Woods are thick forests immediately north/northeast of Enonia. The Dark Woods were once a less fearsome place, but now are the haunts of the bestial races as they pour from the Sithasten Mountains and attack along the borderlands around Enonia and the Enonia Keep. Not even the bravest of the keep’s troops will foray long into the Dark Woods.
Goblyns and spiders haunt the silent forests of the Dark Woods, hunting intruders and killing those unfortunate souls they find. If the rumors are true, a strong Goblyn King himself may be mustering a vile host to plague Enonia. This campaign might temporarily deplete his kingdom of its guards, allowing a small group of rogues to slip undetected into the Dark Woods to pilfer its secrets, if they can avoid the Spider Queen.
